The Tenth Annual Fred Rannard, Sr. Open Wheel Classic is coming up Saturday, September 12 at Agassiz Speedway in Agassiz, British Columbia. It is the only time this season at the ¼ mile paved oval when the fans get to witness a night of racing featuring open wheel cars only.

As usual the three classes competing will be sprint cars, dwarf cars and midgets. Cars from all over BC and Washington will be represented by the Can-Am Sprint Car Series, the Vancouver Island Dwarf Car Club and the Northwest Focus Midgets will join the Agassiz Midgets.
"It's hard to believe that this is already the tenth year we've had this race in memory of Dad," says Fred Rannard, Jr. "Each year it gets bigger and we couldn't do it without the help of everyone involved."
Thanks to our great sponsors over $15,000 in prize money will be on the line including $500 to win, $400 for second and $350 for third place in each of the 30 lap feature races.
Contingency awards will again be provided by our friends at Speedmart and Joe's Racing Products and as always there will be lots of prize giveaways for the fans.
